Position Overview:  We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Drum Tutors to join our team of talented music educators. As a drum tutor at SL Drum School, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise, ignite students’ passion for drumming, and contribute to their musical growth.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct one-on-one lessons for students of various age groups and skill levels.    

A minimum of Grade 6 Certification in any of internationally recognised examinations or equivalent degree. (An audition is required for those without drum certification.) 

Qualifications and requirements:  Proven proficiency in drumming with a strong understanding of various drumming styles and genres. Previous teaching experience, ideally in a music education setting. Patience and a passion for teaching and mentoring students.

-Reliability and punctuality is the most important aspect we are looking for.

-Ability in reading and simple-writing of drum notations. At least in 8th Beats, 16th Beats and Triplets.

-Minimum of a year of teaching experience and 3 years of drumming exposure preferred.

-A block of at least 3 hours from 3:30pm-6:30pm on weekdays or any time on Weekends.

-A commitment of at least 6-12 months is required to teach upon confirmation. We place great importance on fostering strong relationships between students and tutors.
